Product Update: Unlocking Claims

Earlier in 2014, we released an update allowing unlocking of previously submitted repayment claims. This is useful in circumstances where HMRC has rejected the claim for technical reasons such as authorised signatory details not matching its records.

This new update shows a note indicating that the claim has already been submitted once and on what date. This note is designed to remind you that this claim has been unlocked, and it remains visible until you resubmit the claim to HMRC. Fund Filer allows ‘admin’ changes in these circumstances, such as charity or signatory information via ‘organisation setup’, but does not allow any changes to be made to claim data that has been previously submitted. This protects the full history of a claim.
